![]() ![]() Personally, I'm a pretty strong advocate of slapping some illusion spells into any melee build since I'm inevitably going to use blur anyway and enraging orb is pretty busted to have early. Birthsign is harder to change so you'll have to put thought into which one will last you until late-game based on whether you want to use spells more or melee more (Pro tip select your birthsign by visiting the standing stone that way your single-use power serves as a free reroll). Build change can mean picking a blessing that will benefit you most in the short-term (like Stendarr) and then changing at a shrine once you reach mid-game. Playstyle change can mean baiting out power attacks more so that you don't get hit as much or it can mean using a spell school like destruction or illusion which naturally leaves you less exposed. By taking neither you haven't left yourself much room for error.Įither your playstyle or your build should change, it doesn't really matter which. Typically on a glass cannon build like yours I'd either take destruction to safely attack from ranged or I'd take illusion to safely attack from melee. It honestly sounds like a mismatch between playstyle and build, you've selected dunmer/mage/auriel which is a great glass cannon build but you're playing it like a melee brawler or something. Aside from the great races already mentioned redguards have good stamina regen and their faster attack speed helps a lot against enemies wielding slower weapons like maces/axes.
